Extended Mileage Your tire has a specific treadwear warranty. Tires that do not obtain the mileage specified will be replaced on a pro-rated basis. (example: a tire with a 40,000 mile warranty only obtains 20,000 miles, you pay a prorated amount of 50% of the current selling price of that tire on a comparable tire). A tire will be considered worn out when 3/32nds or less of tread remain evenly worn across the tire.
Road Hazard Protection Your tire is protected for damage from road hazards until the tire is worn out (3/32nds or less) and or 9 years from the date of manufacture of the tire as noted on the tire itself (D.O.T. number) . A road hazard is any puncture of the tire body which makes the tire unsafe and unserviceable (subject to the warranty exclusions below). If the tire becomes unsafe or unusable due to road hazard, Jim’s Tire Center will replace the tire at no charge (if the tire is not worn below 3/32nds of usable tread unless it is determined after examination) that the tire can be repaired, which Jim’s Tire Center will do at no charge. (Balancing, valve stem, taxes, state fees and road hazard protection charges for the new tire are required for the replacement tire). This warranty is not available for tires with Run Flat Technology.
This warranty covers replacement or credit towards future merchandise, in part or in full, and does not infer a cash refund. Warranty service must be performed at a Jim’s Tire Center location in Southern California.
Must present original Tire Protection Certificate and invoice at Jim’s Tire Center as proof of purchase for any warranty claim. SAVE YOUR PAPERWORK
This warranty applies to the original purchaser identified on the invoice. This warranty will be honored at Jim’s Tire Center location with presentation of the tire, proof of purchase and warranty. This policy is nontransferable to any other vehicle or owners. The warranty does not transfer to any replacement tire provided by its terms. The replacement tire requires purchase of a new warranty purchase.
This warranty does not provide tire repair or replacement under the following conditions:

To protect your warranty, we recommend the air pressure be checked at least once monthly. Tires should be rotated and rebalanced at 5,000 miles. Rotation is free with proof of tire purchase.
